From Changi Airport to the city
A train or bus ride costs a few dollars; a taxi to the city is S$25 to S$45 plus surcharges. Taxis and ride-hailing cars are there at every terminal, all night.
MRT
- The airport's station, Changi Airport Station (CG2), is linked directly to Terminals 2 and 3. From Terminal 1 or 4, get to Terminal 2 or 3 first; the airport's terminal transfer page shows how.
- For the city, ride to Tanah Merah Station (EW4) and change to the East-West Line towards Tuas Link; or ride to Expo Station (CG1/DT35) and change to the Downtown Line towards Bukit Panjang. For Pasir Ris, change at Tanah Merah to the East-West Line towards Pasir Ris.
- Pay at the gate with a contactless bank card or phone, or buy an EZ-Link card at a Changi Recommends store, the Passenger Service Centre or the ticket office at the station. Fares and passes

Station to station from the airport
Public buses
- Terminals 1, 2 and 3: from the bus bays in the basement, buses 24, 27, 34, 36, 53, 110 and 858.
- Terminal 4: buses 24, 34, 36 and 110 from the stop next to Car Park 4B; 27, 53 and 858 from the stop near SATS Inflight Catering Centre 1.
- Buses take the same cards as the MRT, or exact cash: no change is given.
Taxi and ride-hailing
- Taxi stands are in the arrival areas of all four terminals. To the city takes about 30 minutes and costs S$25 to S$45 on the meter.
- Every trip from the airport adds an airport surcharge: S$8 from 5pm to 11:59pm, S$6 at other times. Across Singapore, 50% is added from midnight to 5:59am, and 25% at peak hours (weekdays except public holidays 6am to 9:29am; weekends and public holidays 10am to 1:59pm; every day 5pm to 11:59pm).
- Ride-hailing apps that pick up at the airport: Grab, Gojek, Zig, Tada, Ryde and Geolah, from the ride-hailing pick-up points at each terminal.
- The airport's Ground Transport Concierge counters book a car to anywhere in Singapore, one drop-off: S$70 for 4 seats, S$75 for 6.
