SG Arrival Card, visas and immigration
Every visitor submits the SG Arrival Card online before arriving. It is free, it is not a visa, and it only goes through ICA's own e-Service or the MyICA app.
SG Arrival Card
- Submit it within 3 days before you arrive, counting the day of arrival: arriving on the 30th, you can submit from the 28th. It includes a health declaration.
- Use ICA's SG Arrival Card e-Service or the MyICA app (free on the App Store and Google Play). ICA warns of websites that charge for submitting it on your behalf: they are not connected to ICA.
- Give an email address you can read: after immigration, your visit pass (e-Pass) arrives by email, with the number of days you may stay and your last day. Nothing is stamped in your passport.
- Passengers transiting without passing through immigration do not need it.
Do you need a visa?
Only travel documents on ICA's list need a visa. Passports of South Korea, Japan and the People's Republic of China are not on it. How long you may stay is decided by the officer at the checkpoint and written in your e-Pass, not fixed in advance.
The list changes; check it before you travel. ICA: visa requirements
At immigration
- Foreign visitors aged six and over can use the automated lanes at the passenger halls, with no enrolment beforehand and at no cost, if their passport is machine-readable to the ICAO standard and valid for at least six more months.
- Take off sunglasses, caps and masks for the face and iris scan, and avoid coloured or patterned contact lenses.
