Pulau Ubin
Nature reserve and island
About
An island in Singapore's north east, west of Pulau Tekong, and among the last rural areas in the country, with plenty of plants and wildlife. A few thousand settlers lived there in the 1960s around its granite quarry, but only about 40 were left in 2012.
