Civic District
About
The Civic District lies beside the Singapore River in the Central Area, and its historical buildings now house several museums: the former Supreme Court and City Hall together are the National Gallery Singapore, the old Parliament House is The Arts House, and the Empress Place Building holds the Asian Civilisations Museum. The Civilian War Memorial, the Lim Bo Seng Memorial and the Cenotaph are here as well. With 79 of this site's sights within 800 m of its centre, it is the densest area we list. City Hall station (North-South and East-West lines) is 330 m away, and five more stations are within 800 m.
